My favorite quote…honestly, I don’t have an exact favorite quote. And the books are no where near me at the moment..so I can’t pull one from there. So I’ll just try to explain it to you! I love it when Katniss thinks how she’s kinda happy that the redheaded avox gets a friend when that other guy joins her. It makes me happy :)
A character I love that everyone hates…does anyone hate Greasy Sae? Well…I don’t care if anyone does! I’m just trying to answer this question to the best of my ability! I find Greasy Sae to be such a nice character. I mean, she might seem a little rough around the edges but it seems that she’s really kind at heart. For example, not just anyone would sell soup to people in the Hob. You have to be nice and considerate to take the time to cook for others. She also is the one who takes care of Katniss when she returns to District 12. She cooks for her and tries to keep her clean. See? She’s really nice. So that’s why I like her. She almost seems like a grandmother.
A character I hate that everyone loves…I’m sorry guys, but it’s Katniss. Unfortunately, I found her to be an extremely selfish and slightly bitchy character. Like…when her and Peeta were in the first Hunger Games together, they pretty much fell in love. But on their way back to District 12, she was pretty much like this: “I dunno if I really love you…there’s always Gale and I can always make out with him in the woods and hunt deer and rabbits and other random animals back there with him while we lock lips and hold hands and talk about running away together and having babies together and blah blah blah blah blah…” Okay, I know she doesn’t say any of that, but that’s my take on it. And then…when they get Peeta back in Mockingjay, it’s almost like she doesn’t care about him enough. I mean, yeah he’s trying to kill her, but if that was me, I would be going after my man! I wouldn’t give up and live all dreary-like. So…that’s my lovely rant about Katniss. Sorry if I offended anyone.
My favourite character would have to be….Peeta. It took me a while to decide on that, but I have officially decided that Peeta will be my favorite character. He’s a baker, an artist, and just an overall amazing person. I don’t exactly like when he comes back from the Capitol hating Katniss, but even though it does take a while for him to get over all that hatred, I think everything turns out alright. Although…the thing I hate the most is that he tells Katniss that she isn’t exactly pretty or something along those lines. Ahh, whatever. He’s still my favorite character.
